Last Sunday I purchased Addie's new crate. It took her only a matter of months to out grow the medium sized crate. I have discovered that this new crate works wonders on dogs and husbands, separately or at the same time!

Since day one, Addie has had some mighty big shoes to fill. Although, I know she will never be the same dog as our K-8, it is hard not to compare them. Well, it's really not that hard. K-8 was never bitey and Addie is. Our vet gave us a new tip that he found called "close your mouth." I am working on that with Addie, but giving her some slack right now since she is still full of stitches.
Since Addie arrived in April, Ron and I have made her the center of our lives. We read books, talked to our vet and tried everything to make sure we didn't do anything wrong, but here we are with a bitey Addie. It looks like her big teeth are all in now, so we can't use that reason any longer. We will keep trying until she realizes that she has the best family and dog friendly household in the whole wide world. K-8 knew it. Zoe, well, we love Zoe!
Let me begin by saying, "I'm not crazy." I just enjoy photographing my dogs and making it fun. And they really do LOVE the camera! I came across some fun vacation themed pet supplies at Target the other day and just couldn't pass up some of the items.
I admit that the beret really didn't work on Zoe, but I thought the picture was cute anyway. I really like the picture of Addie in the Café and Zoe snacking on her squeaky croissants. Then, I started thinking about my video camera and thought I would capture the moment in motion. And that is how I ended up with a cheesy video of the dogs in a Paris Café!

Ever since we got Addie I have been able to see her growth easily by looking at her ears. I know it sounds crazy, but it is an easy way for me to see when she is going through a growth spurt. When we first got Addie she had what I call "big floppy" ears or Border Collie looking ears. A few days later they folded and went into "tiny folded" ear mode or Great Pyrenees looking ears. What is the cutest is when one ear has not caught up with the other ear and one is big and floppy and the other is tiny and folded. LOL
