A Happy Addie!

Addie had a wonderful Birthday!

She started out her day with a special can of dog food! YUMMY

Then she was off to her favorite place... Family Pet Care for Doggy Daycare! Her friend Peanut the German Shepard was there so they got to spend the day playing. The staff posted Addie's Birthday picture for everyone to enjoy. Addie took cookies in for all of her dog friends to share from Three Dog Bakery.

Little Lucie was not so happy to see her sister leave this morning...

When Addie got home she played with Lucie who was very happy to see her big sister.

 

  

They worked on their hole...

And just had a good time!

Then it was dinner of steak! Not a lot, just a taste. Addie had a little accident while her dad was preparing the steaks. He went to close the sliding screen door, Addie didn't see the screen door and ran right into it taking it down completely and breaking it. He was not pleased at all. Addie is ok, although she may have a little headache. She was more scared than anything and it took a lot of convincing to get her to come back into the house.

Then came the gifts!

Addie's first gift was all the way from Australia from her dear friends Suzuki, Tahlia and Scooby Doo!
Thank you sooo very much! Addie had the best time opening the gift and LOVED all of the toys. Especially the squeek toy! (I had chosen a cooler song for the video but YouTube blocked it.)




The next gift was from her BFF's the 4 Musketeers!
Thank you sooo very much dear friends! Addie LOVED everything!

Thank you all of your kindness and generosity to think of Addie on her Birthday!

 

And more gifts! Look at that cake! No, I did not make that cake and Addie was afraid of it because it made noise, which is why I placed the pupperonies in front of it. But she did enjoy opening her gifts.

 

Lucie even received gifts today for her 3 month birthday!

 

Speaking of cakes, thank you so very much for all of your recommendations. I had every intent to make the meatloaf cake, but I simply ran out of time. I will have to make one for Lucie's 6 month Birthday to test it out. I bet you are wondering what I did for a cake. I had remembered that I purchased this little do-it-yourself cake for dogs. 

  

It's not very pretty but the pups loved it!

The cake was moist and the frosting was a lot of fun to eat.

 Here they are waiting so patiently.

Addie ate her piece in a few bites. Lucie on the other hand took her time.

She means the world to us and we love her dearly.
