It sure is hot here in Texas. While sitting in the nice cold house we were noticing that it even sounds hot outside. Check out the video and see what we mean.
Our girls are indoor dogs and they really don't like this heat so much time is spent in doors during the day. Once the sun starts to set and the temps start to go down we head outside. We have not found a good place for them to swim yet. We tried a park in Arlington but the water was dirty the there was a lot of mud around. We will keep looking for a nice spot to swim. Try and stay cool friends!
We agree, never leave your dog in the car when it's hot.
Not even for a second!
OMD! It does sound hot out! Thanks for sharing that video of the girls hanging out outside... I felt like I was there with them!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I thought it was too hot for comfort HERE, but we have it easy I guess... only 80F, but feels like 91.
xo
P.S. I can't believe how grown up Lucie looks!!

ReplyDeletemom and dad know all about that Texas heat - stay inside girls - that's what I'm doing here in Tennessee
ReplyDeleteHi again my friends,
ReplyDeleteMommy let me go outside for about 30 minutes this morning and just left me go outside. She says I ac stay out their for another hald hour then I gotta come in. It sound like a bunch of cickadees ouside, just like your video does.
Looks like some little bitty girl might be trying to take my roaching title away some day. You go girl!!

That did sound hot. It gets really hot by day here but it's not bad in the shade and gets cool at night. Good warning about the car. Keep cool

If that picture of the little dog in the oven doesn't get this point across, nothing will.
ReplyDeleteThat was a funny sound, sounded like a snake.
ReplyDeleteWas that just the heat then?
We are having a heat wave at the moment....
I don't want to be in a car even with a/c in this heat...:-/
It is very annoying when you hear an animal has been left in a car and got heatstroke...:-(
Have you got a little kiddies pool? they would love it...lol
p.s. the lens is a Nikon Af 70/300
I was thinking the same thing just yesterday--it sounds like August outside. The cicadas are already in high gear. Star and Dozer sleep inside all day. I run outside to take care of the chickens early, before 9 am. This Texas heat is nuts! In the 100s in June?!?
ReplyDeleteI khould hear the sizzle from HERE!
ReplyDeleteStay khool girrrls!
Tank woo fur all your GOLDEN help to get Laska home!
Hugz&Khysses,

I just found your blog. Hailey is adorable. I'm originally from Texas and only recently moved away. Your video made me miss the summer sounds.
