At this point I am going to try a Martingale type collar and add even more praise and a treat she can't resist! I don't have the collar yet, but I tried the added praise and treats while at Petsmart with her and she did great. The Petsmart employees thought I was insane with the high pitched praise I was dishing out, but Addie loved it. It is going to take time to perfect things, but we are off to a better start in public.

I wasn't online last week to comment, but I would also have suggested the Martingale type. Combined with consistency and praise, it can be really helpful for chronic pullers.
