Lucie has not been herself lately. Last Tuesday I notice some flaky skin on her right ear. Dr. Johnson said that was normal with Vasculitis. Thursday night we noticed that Lucie was having trouble getting up from a down position. Friday we went to see Dr. Johnson. Thankfully, he did not find anything wrong with her hips. Movement is good. The bumps on her ears are flattening out some and causing some redness on the inside of her ears. During the appointment she was noticeably not feeling well. When she was not being examined, she was sleeping on the floor which is not like her. Blood tests were done and from the first report that I received things look good. (small sigh of relief) So what is going on with our Lucie?
This evening she seems to be a little edgy, growling at Addie and Hailey while she chews on a bone. Again, very unlike Lucie. Dr. Johnson said he would call tomorrow with the rest of the results.

We sure hope that Lucie is just having an off day or two and that there is nothing serious wrong. And poor Eduardo - we sure hope his medicine helps and he can find a way to full recovery.
