Square Foot Garden: Thirteen Weeks

Tomatoes were harvested during this week.  They turned red and started to split for some reason.

We now have three ears of corn.  Depending on how this corn turns out we may just go with potatoes and corn next time.  Everything else wasn't so successful.

I see you in there green bean. Grow faster please!

Wondering what Hailey is smiling at?

This super happy Zinna flower! It's just as happy to see her.

Lucie even went in for a sniff of the Zinna flower.

  4. Thanks for the tomato splitting link, not sure which one of those items was the cause...maybe the intense sun/heat

  5. We started growing cherry tomatoes because we could not overcome our issues with full size tomatoes. Since our primary purpose was salad/snacks it works for us.

  6. Wow, you have a big garden! You're gonna have lots of yummy veggies to eat pretty soon.

My neighbor has a big garden. I like to peek over the fence at it sometimes. She's awfully proud of that garden - she has TONS of company and they always come out for a look at it.

  8. Well, it looks good. We haven't harvested anything yet, but we will have zucchini soon, and the tomatoes actually have little green tomatoes. Yum. Can't wait!
