Lucie - Our Shady Dog

Developing a business name is not an easy task. My husband and I came up with tons of different names but none of them stuck.

While we were on a walk with the girls one morning, we were brainstorming names again and stumbled upon the name Shady Dog. That was it! Shady Dog Soap was born with Lucie as our Shady Dog. It only made sense to incorporate our heart dog into our business that we love.

My husband surprised me with a 

wonderful gift when we launched our business.
