It was 75 degrees outside on Sunday. But never fear... as the saying goes in Texas, if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes. NO KIDDING!

The beautiful weather allowed us to go to Santa Paws in the Park on Sunday. The event was not as large as I thought it would be. Our wonderful friend Tasha and her Rhodesian Ridgeback Nylah met us there for some play time and a visit with Santa.
In my mind for the Santa Paws pictures I thought there would be a back drop, a nice chair, maybe a Christmas tree and a real Santa suit.
I swear Addie was thinking... who is this guy and what is with his outfit!
We have another location to have Addie's picture taken with Santa.
Stay tuned for Addie's official Santa Paws visit this Friday!

Great picture of you & Santa Paws Addie :D
ReplyDeleteThat arctic front has got us too. However, since we are much closer to the arctic, it has been very cold here for a couple of days now. Tonight our temperature is sitting at about -30 degrees celcius ( or about-20 degrees F.) Burrr!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the arctic front will not affect you too much. Keep warm and safe!
Poor Nylah being choked by Santa Paws! Maybe he just wasn't paying attention. The caption made my Mom laugh. Neat that you got to see him at least! And very cool that you have a Ridgeback friend like me. ;) Our names are even similar.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Nala
Those are very cool photos of you and Santa Paws, Addie! Can't wait to see your other photos...*wink*
ReplyDeleteScottie
Love the 'santa' pictures! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on the weather. LOL I am heading down to Austin this week. I was looking forward to mild and warm - a nice change from the frigid single digits we have been having here. *sigh*
I hope it warms up soon!
Ha we just don't believe anything the weather man says around here...he says Rain we think Sun... :D
ReplyDeleteErin - and the dachshunds who are hogging my bed.
OMdoG... did you get any pressies from Santa?? Did he give you any treats?? Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of a Santa Paws here.
Best wishes, pats & pets
Blue
Oh Addie, you are soooooooo good at picture taking! Great manners!!!
ReplyDeleteMya Boo Boo
What a great picture of you and Santa, Addie! We've never met the Big Guy in person!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Arooooo Addie!
ReplyDeleteThat's not Santa! That's a man-in-red-and-with-a-long-beard... lolololololol it seems like John, my human, dresses himself as Santa in Christmas... nobody believes... BOLL!
Anyway, you and your friend look great on those photos, sweet Addie. And you have such a great sense of humour! :)
Pipa
Awww, those are gorgeous, pics Addie!
ReplyDeleteWow! I thought we had "changeable" weather in the North east!!
(((hugs)))
Oskar, Schatzi & Xena
Oh Addie, I think you were right to be a little suspicious of that Santa. No North Pole backdrop? No Santa chair? Not even white gloves? Hmm...
ReplyDeleteLater!
Joey
That's not Santa! Where's his Reindogs and sled? They say the same thing about the weather here in Indiana too. You just never know what it might be.
ReplyDeleteWoof,
Domi
Hi Addie!
ReplyDeleteI love those Santa Paws pictures! It is really cold where I live - hope it doesn't get that cold for you!!
Love Clover xo
I think Santa Paws is a weird looking man but nonetheless, I wanna meet him too!
ReplyDeleteButt wiggles,
Solid Gold Dancer
Addie it is crazy cold outsides isnt it?? Well you are very brave to be so close to that scary Santa Paws.
ReplyDeleteThanks you fer the pakage you sended. I luvved every bit of it!
Yer pal Dozer
This Texas weather drives my Old Girl crazy! Sorry we didn't make it out on Sunday--the pictures are so cute! My Mr. Jason and Old Girl stayed in and played something called Scrabble instead, and I spent my time trying to steal their eggnog. heehee
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures, Addie, but somehow Santa near a chain-link fence and no snow, a person in shorts - I dunno. It doesn't look like Christmas to me. You should be here where there's lots of snow everywhere and everyone's all bundled up and freezing!! Second thought - I like your weather better. I hope you get all the presents you asked Santa for.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new pictures.
Poor Nylah! Hope she's ok.
xox
Chef
Simon just learned about sleet last night! It was so pleasant for the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteHang in there - it's sure to change soon! (We had the A/C up on Sunday!)
We say that about Oregon. the weather changes here pretty fast also.
ReplyDeleteThat Santa could take a lesson from your mom on setting up a set for the pictures. He must have been one of the lesser of Santa's assistants.
We always get a kick out of watching you run at the dog park. That is a nice new friend you have. Happy to see that two of your other friends found homes. We are so lucky to have such good homes ourselves.
It's a balmy 19 degrees here. Love the Santa pics. Can't wait to see the Santa picks.
ReplyDeleteHehe! And I thought the PetSmart Santa looked corny!
ReplyDeleteIs that 'the' santa paws? Or just a people pretending? Did he give you a present?
ReplyDelete~lickies, Ludo
Hey Addie you've got a gorgeous Santa, I wanna meet him too! Couldn't you send him right over to Europe pleeeeeeeease?
ReplyDeleteNice WUUUH
Sally
hehe, love the photo of you looking directly at the Santa man Addie.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had a Santa paws event over here i could take my two to, i think Holly would probably bark though, she has a thing about bearded men, lol
Addie - you look great in that photo, but who the heck is that man in the red sweat pants??? Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteWe got your sweet sweet sweet package yesterday and just put up a blog about it. Thank you ladies SOOOO much - you are all too sweet for thinking of us like that. We are so lucky to have you as friends.
Oh Addie, hey did you sit on his lap and ask him for an unlimited amouts of treats? cuz you can do that you know. Oh, and thats a good picture of you, but uh santa looks like he should do a few sit ups....
ReplyDeleteYou need to come north and play with us. We even have a chimney for Santa to come down and leave us lots of presents.
ReplyDeletePrincess Eva
Oh how lovely!
ReplyDeleteI want to have a picture with the big guy big beard big belly big red suit too!
Cool pic you have here, Addie!
Oh, we really like the last one of you and "Santa" - after your Mom prettied it all up! BOL!
ReplyDeleteI have never met Santa Paws. We were supposed to go this year, but SOMEbody forgot!
I'm glad our weather isn't so crazy! It's just ccccccold!
Brown dog kisses,
Dannan
Hi, Addie!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is the same. Hot, cold, hot, cold!
Are you saying that is a fake Santa Paws?? Ha!
Take care
