Fourth Day After TPLO

Addie continues to feel better and better each day. She is quickly becoming tired of the cone and confinement but they are not negotiable. She has mastered walking on 3 legs. I spoke to our vet this morning regarding the swelling in her ankle. He said it's totally normal and recommended to elevate her ankle and massage the area to encourage the fluid to move. She is tolerating this. He also said that it will disburse on its own as well.

I have found my Addie cam helpful for keeping an eye on her when I need to work around the house and make soaps.

  1. Great update! We are continuing to pray for you, Addie! Wanting out of the cone and out of confinement are great signs that you're starting to heal! Try to be patient.

  2. Oh she looks great in the pictures and I can understand her getting tired of the cone. Love the idea of the Addie cam, good way to keep an eye on your special pups. Sending prayers and positive thoughts for Addie and you. Keep up the good work.
