A feral cat in the house? And acupuncture is amazing!

Gypsy's luxury accommodations! We did switch to Yesterday's News for her kitty litter which worked amazingly well. Now, the last time Gypsy spent time in our home was when she was spayed and she was in the trap. It did not go well. There was a ton of hissing and scratching. This time, she has been the perfect guest. And the craziest thing, Ron was able to give her the liquid pain med. We could not have been more shocked that she allowed it. To be honest, it's been nice having her safe and protected than out in the scary world.

On December 28, Lucie didn't want to bend down to drink from the water bowl. When she saw her oncologist, she said that it's possible that her neck/shoulders are sore due to how she walks and gets up differently due to her leg. Last week we chose not to do acupuncture because Covid was surging. Out of an abundance of caution, we cancelled because if we are sick there is no one to take care of the girls. Our oncologist said to start acupuncture again. Our acupuncture Vet squeezed us in on the morning of the 29th and after her appointment she was drinking from the water bowl again. Clearly, weekly acupuncture is vital to Lucie's movement and wellbeing. It's so important to embrace all of the different methods that can improve ones life!
